Welcome to Animal Kingdom Rescue's web site. Animal Kingdom Rescue was founded by Sasha Squires which was first started in Bellevue, MI. AKR is still in Michigan and is being run by some very wonderful people while Sasha is also a contact for rescues in Tucson, AZ, and is currently rescuing and rehabing horses in Montana. A.K.R. is a (pending 501c3) non-profit rescue dedicated to the aid of helpless, abandoned, abused and homeless animals in need. We specialize in finding animals homes, that are free from neglect, abuse, or ill treatment.
